For guys - Would you be like this?

When you break her heart - [the pain NEVER really goes away]
When she misses you - [she's hurting inside]
When she says it's over - [she STILL wants you to be hers]
When she walks away from you mad - [Follow her]
When she stare at your mouth - [Kiss her]
When she ignores you - [Give her your attention]
When she pulls away - [Pull her back]
When you see her at her worst - [Tell her she's beautiful]
When you see her start crying - [Just hold her and don’t say a word]
When you see her walking - [Sneak up and hug her waist from behind]
When she lays her head on your shoulder - [Tilt her head up and kiss her]
When she steals your favourite hat - [Let her keep it and sleep with it for a night]
When she teases you - [Tease her back and make her laugh]
When she doesn’t answer for a long time - [reassure her that everything is okay]
When she looks at you with doubt - [Back yourself up with the TRUTH]
When she says that she likes you - [she really does more than you could understand]
When she grabs at your hands - [Hold hers and play with her fingers]
When she bumps into you - [bump into her back and make her laugh]
When she tells you a secret - [keep it safe and untold]
When she looks at you in your eyes - [don’t look away until she does]

Relationship Fixes - Friends

Make them your priority. Don’t ditch them if your guy suddenly wants to take you out.

Spend time. Call or email regularly. Those quick “I’m thinking about you” text messages can go a long way.

Always be there, for the good & bad.

Don’t keep score. No need to keep track on who called who last or who said sorry first during the last fight.

Accept them for who they are. Don’t try to change them. Look at their strengths instead of weaknesses.

Allow your friends room to grow. Be sensitive to their needs & encourage them to pursue their dreams.

Trust. Know that sometimes friendships have seasons of closeness & distance, so trust that your friends do love and care for you, even though they can’t see you as often as you’d like them.

the end

once again ramadhan nak hampir ke penghujung. rasa like smlm je baru 1st day puasa. hmmm..tp mcm biasa la, time flies so fast smpai kita yg terkejar2 masa. that is what i call life. sweet, sour & semua perasa la ada =)

here, i would like to say tenkiu to all my friends yg slalu berbuke puasa together2. especially my close friends. blk dr cuti bwkla apa2 juadah yg sewaktu dgnnya okayh! later perhaps xdpt jmpa coz semua dah amik cabang masing2. but whatever it is, i appreciate the friendship & the relationship. so long. farewell till we meet again...

Concerning English

hey all! i'm glad to be home for raya, finally =) just as i was browsing the papers to read the unread news, i came by with this topic - Are you speak engris? the topic was discussed in Malaysian Today's paper dated Sept 18-24.

my 1st reaction to it - WTF? and its a bit funny. no! really funny & stupid if u read the article. it has 101 reasons to school them in English! below are some of it:-

1) at a job interview:
Q - you have a long name. so how do I address you?
A - I live in Gombak Setia, sir.

2) thanks GOD I pass
3) I pass all my testes. my grades should be hirer.

4) a top local singer calls out to the crowd during her concert saying "are you a fans?"
more.."are you enjoys?

5) overheard at a stall in town - "Do you speak the Englands?"

6) movie star - "I am mixed"
local celebrity - "With what?"

7) a very famous local singer was asked by a stewardess - "How would you like your coffee?" the singer earnestly replied - "In a cup please"

p/s - if anyone wants the full article, just msg me. i'll email it to ya! it's good if your knowledge is just as a pinch of salt.

Relationship Fixes - Siblings

Stop making tally marks. Don’t compare successes & failures. Celebrate joys & give support through tough times.

Don’t compete. There’s no need to prove who’s better than the other.

Talk. If they hurt you, tell them honestly. No yelling @ getting angry.

Spend time & make time. Do things together (board games, badminton etc)

When you’re in a heated argument, be the one to cool down first. This will help the other person to calm down, too.

Apologize. For saying mean things that hurt the other person’s feelings.

Compliment them. Encourage & build each other.

Respect your bro or sis’s personal space & they will show you the same respect in return.

Relationship Fixes - Parents

Keep your promises. Like not breaking curfews. Give them respect & they’ll do the same.

Treat them as friends. Talk about your school, personal life, friends, current affairs & so on.

Communicate. Tell them what bothers you. If you don’t like your mum barging into your room, tell her gently that you need your privacy. Don’t keep it silently.

Constantly arguing? Make a list of the things you fight most about. Identify them & decide on a fair compromise. It means that you, too, have to give up some of your demands.

If you get angry easily, make a promise not to raise your voice. Laughter is a good lifesaver, especially in stressful situations.

Never showed how much you love them? Express gratitude & appreciation for all that they’ve done for you.

Reinvent yourself!

The secret of feeling good about yourself is all about self-confidence – the power you already have inside you.
Lesson #1 – Self-Acceptance
Lesson #2 – Self-Love
Lesson #3 – Self-Determination
“Strength is the matter of the made-up mind” – John Beecher
 Lesson #4 – Positive Thinking
“Most folks are about as happy as they make up their minds to be” – Abraham Lincoln
Lesson #5 – Stop Comparing Yourself to Others
Lesson #6 – Stop Worrying About What Others Think
*Nobody’s perfect, so stop obsessing about what’s “wrong” with you. Give yourself & others a chance to notice all the great things about you. Almost everyone feels insecure at some point. Self-confidence comes from being able to put a break on that negativity & move on. Remember, you lose out on 100% of the opportunities that you never go for. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

::facts for life::

Did you know?
Eating breakfast can actually help you lose weight? Reports have found that a healthy breakfast helps teenage girls stay slim! That’s because breakfast kickstarts your metabolism in the morning & acts like fuel to your body. When you get to lunch, you’re not starving, thus it helps you make reasonable choices for lunch & dinner. Those who eat breakfast on a regular basis are also less likely to snack between meals.
Did you know...?
  • Bacteria collected over time will turn into plaque, which may lead to dental cavities @ tooth decay in the long run. This may cause infection, pain & even loss of teeth!
  • Eating sweet cereal dry isn’t a good idea because of high sugar content. It’s best to mix it with milk!
  • Putting your teeth in direct contact with heat & ice may corrode them over a long period of time. So think twice about sipping hot tea & ice water the next time you’re about to!

Tribute to Indie Band

Estranged - Yang Pernah

Silakan puas sudah disuruh
Nyatakan mimpi yang tak pernah lengkap
Lakukan apa saja yang kamu mampu

Sudahlah biar yang telah lalu
Lafazkan kesemua yang pernah ada
Akhirkan kalau ada masih tertinggal

Cukuplah kalau perangnya ada
Disamping kamu selalu
Andainya aku tahu
Ertinya disuruh
Semua kan pernah minta

Tibalah waktu untuk bersedar
Kerana giliran sudah menyuruh
Yang pasti yang panggil itu suci lagi

Berilah sedikit untuk aku
Hilangkan rasa hati yang tak percaya
Biarkan dia yang bilang jangan lagi

Jangan luka yang lebih
Kerana tiada yang memberi
Tiada cuma untuk kamu disini

Leaving on a jet plane

Before going on a vacation, here are some tips so everything will goes well.

Health & insurance - prevention is better than cure
Don’t forget to take a copy of your medical records & keep a note of the medication that you’re used to taking, if you have any. Check if your host country has any immunisation requirements. Get a reliable health insurance policy & be sure of what it covers.

Research weather & culture
Take some time to research the weather of your host country. Find out as much as you can from other people about the country, as 1st hand experiences give you a great insight into the culture of the place as well.

Packing
Pack only what you need for settling down & the appropriate clothes for the weather there. Make sure you weigh your luggage before you head to the airport, having to unpack stuff there is just a nuisance.

Accommodation
Make sure you’ve got transport from the airport to your booked accommodation.

Money
Have the correct currency available. Don’t carry too much cash but have enough to get you by. If you’re planning on using your credit card, inform your bank that you will be using it & in which country.

REMINDER
All liquids to be carried onto the plane must now be bagged in a transparent bag. Each item should not contain more than 100ML of liquid.

Write down important contact numbers & carry it with you always. (Don’t just store it in your phone as your batteries may run out!)

Tag your bag, so you recognise it & attach your address as well. Don’t forget to lock it too!

Pack some clothes in your hand carry just in case your luggage goes missing.

Get healthy teeth!

Whatever you do, don’t overlook one of the most important parts of our face – our pearly whites.

Tips for oral hygiene:
Rinse
your mouth after meals & brush your teeth twice a day to clean your teeth & keep your teeth fresh at all times.

Use a
soft, contoured toothbrush to clean hard-to-reach places & stimulate your gums. Replace it once every 3 months so you’ll have good, clean bristles to brush with!

Floss your teeth to make sure there are no leftover bits stuck in between (this may accumulate & give you multiple problems over time)

Drink plenty of water & milk daily. Water helps to hydrate your mouth & lips while milk strengthens teeth.

Eat
food & fruits rich in fibre & protein so you can massage your gums & clean your teeth while you chew. Soup, smoothies, cheese & yogurt are recommended too!

Visit the dentist for a thorough check-up once every 3 – 6 months. Don’t wait until a toothache strikes, it will definitely hurt & cost more! If you’ve got loose teeth, bad breath, red & swollen gums @ gums that bleed easily as you’re brushing, consult a dentist immediately!

Don’t chew on hard food because you’ll risk causing damage to your teeth.

Kickstart your day!

Eating a good breakfast sets the tone for the rest of the day. It fires up your mind, body & metabolism.

Peanut butter on whole wheat toast
Easy to make & they contain protein, fibre, Vitamin B3 & E and healthy fats that will keep you satisfied until the bell rings for lunch!

Energy Bars
Energy bars @ granola can be nutritious. While some are actually more like candy bars, just make sure to watch the calories, sugar, fibre & fats.

Breakfast Cereals
Start your day with a bowl of breakfast cereal & you’re most likely to get all the nutrients you need. Opt for a whole-grain cereal rather than a refined-grain or sugary ones. They can be beaten cold & mixed with milk, yoghurt, fruit @ boiled like oatmeal.

Low-fat Yoghurt
Yoghurt is packed with protein. It helps to keep your colon healthy & strengthens the immune system!

Fresh Fruits
Fruits provide a slow release of energy to last you till lunchtime. It also has tons of vitamins & minerals. Pack them in a portable container & bring them to school/college/work. If you prefer a delicious fresh smoothie, blend it with or without yoghurt. You can even make fruit salad.

*Timesaver Tip*
Cut the fruits @ make fruit salad the night before & store in the fridge. That way, you don’t have to rush in the morning! If you’re on the run, grab a banana. It boosts energy & is low in calories.

reminiscence

It has been a week since my mid-term break. It was fun with all the intend & unintended activities. Mostly it was an arrange goings-on but when we went to some place, our plan likes to change its course.
Nevertheless, all went well. Be it with family or friends. I ate yummy foods at home. The special fillings curry puff. Do-it-yourself porridge. Homemade barley drinks [thanks to my sis who is not feeling well at that time, I got to eat such food. Luckily the foodstuff became appetizing]. Enough said, all superb delicious & satisfy my taste buds. Syukur Alhamdulillah!

Though my intention during the holidays is to revise & do exercises, I didn’t do it at all! Even if I did, it was when I’m searching for the appropriate questions for HR case study. Sadly say, I always cannot concentrate when I’m at home. Moreover, there’s TV & computer that forever will attract my attraction. It is my biggest imperfection. But whoever can resist such attraction if you’re stuck in a student life..?

For the interview, we all dressed up like normal workers do. Just to give the good impression during the task. We didn’t make any appointment – which is a big mistake! So, we tried calling several companies & ask how the procedure is regarding our research. We have the approval letter from our university but the companies require another letter which included the questionnaires needed for the research. Lessons learned, so we did another letter & fax it to the respective companies. Until now, we haven’t got any reply. The report is due on 1st April. We only have to pray for the response. Tired of waitnig, we form a backup plan. We went to steel manufacture factory. Gladly, we receive full commitment from the human resource manager. She gave very detailed information & even treats us with superior hospitality. Now, our problems kinda slove about 30%. All is left is to complete & submit the report...

holiday!

yes! it's finally here! though it's gonna be for 1week only..yet i cannot spend it with joyfullness all the time. have to start on research for human resource (HR). meaning my group have to gather appropriate info about certain company. gonna interview few peeps at HR department. please let the process be smooth. to those involve, do cooperate.
next on schedule is i have to revise n do exercise more for the upcoming quiz & test. lots of info to memorize. i think i'm okay with calculation. i have to do lots of past year questions. b4 this i rarely care about test but now i realize my carry marks have to be good if i want flying colours for my 5th semester. so i have to start with excelling in quiz n test.

while on my short holiday, i have to update myself with the latest news. could be on any topic. current news would be more precise. be it on current issues or food or even politics. it's not that i don't have the link to news exposure if i'm at college. but the distance n the works seems to be in the way..but then again. it's all can be done if i put more effort to it.
while i have the chance, i want to update on issues that are related to my subjects. public relations always in need for current issues. as for investment, it's enough if i know the situation of the current market.

not forgetting to update about football & music & tv! it's been awhile since i keep track with english premier league..happily to say that my team are able to work their ass out! even if they tied or loss, their winning strike is what matters the most *go red devils*
