Fashion Medics at Urbanscapes 2008

It was my 1st experience at Urbanscapes but not at selling things. I’m used to it as i’m majoring in business & i’m loving it =) I’m helping the medics sell their Pixellates Art. People’s acceptance to it was positive. There is a bright future for pixelletes collection.

Leaving on a jet plane

Before going on a vacation, here are some tips so everything will goes well.

Health & insurance - prevention is better than cure
Don’t forget to take a copy of your medical records & keep a note of the medication that you’re used to taking, if you have any. Check if your host country has any immunisation requirements. Get a reliable health insurance policy & be sure of what it covers.

Research weather & culture
Take some time to research the weather of your host country. Find out as much as you can from other people about the country, as 1st hand experiences give you a great insight into the culture of the place as well.

Packing
Pack only what you need for settling down & the appropriate clothes for the weather there. Make sure you weigh your luggage before you head to the airport, having to unpack stuff there is just a nuisance.

Accommodation
Make sure you’ve got transport from the airport to your booked accommodation.

Money
Have the correct currency available. Don’t carry too much cash but have enough to get you by. If you’re planning on using your credit card, inform your bank that you will be using it & in which country.

REMINDER
All liquids to be carried onto the plane must now be bagged in a transparent bag. Each item should not contain more than 100ML of liquid.

Write down important contact numbers & carry it with you always. (Don’t just store it in your phone as your batteries may run out!)

Tag your bag, so you recognise it & attach your address as well. Don’t forget to lock it too!

Pack some clothes in your hand carry just in case your luggage goes missing.
