Whatever you do, don’t overlook one of the most important parts of our face – our pearly whites.
Tips for oral hygiene:
Rinse your mouth after meals & brush your teeth twice a day to clean your teeth & keep your teeth fresh at all times.
Use a soft, contoured toothbrush to clean hard-to-reach places & stimulate your gums. Replace it once every 3 months so you’ll have good, clean bristles to brush with!
Floss your teeth to make sure there are no leftover bits stuck in between (this may accumulate & give you multiple problems over time)
Drink plenty of water & milk daily. Water helps to hydrate your mouth & lips while milk strengthens teeth.
Eat food & fruits rich in fibre & protein so you can massage your gums & clean your teeth while you chew. Soup, smoothies, cheese & yogurt are recommended too!
Visit the dentist for a thorough check-up once every 3 – 6 months. Don’t wait until a toothache strikes, it will definitely hurt & cost more! If you’ve got loose teeth, bad breath, red & swollen gums @ gums that bleed easily as you’re brushing, consult a dentist immediately!
Don’t chew on hard food because you’ll risk causing damage to your teeth.
