Assalamualaikum and hello again. :)

I just realized I've been neglecting the Video Series (VS) section. To make it up, here's a special post for the 4th episode. A tribute to one of my favourite villain ever created - Darth Vader.

All this while, I never stressed out on having a specific criteria on finding 'that' guy. Heh, actually tak betul sangat la. I always like to see tall guys. Tak perlu tinggi sampai kena mendongak, a bit taller than I am is good enough. There's something about tall guys. :)

And now as time passes by, I wish for someone that my unconscious mind secretly plans for me. When you don't realize it, the brain will help you out. Tak merokok, cukup ilmu agama di dada (to help & guide me), tinggi sikit je or sama tinggi pun boleh. Other traits is enough as the saying "sedap mata memandang".

Maybe 'that' guy is in this picture? Perhaps, or not.

Synesthesia

What is Synesthesia?

Some people see colors in letters or numbers called color-graphemic synesthesia, see colors from sounds call sound-color synesthesia, or taste from hearing or saying certain words call lexical-gustatory synesthesia.

How do some people have this ability?

One of the beliefs argues that all people initially have this ability, but because of later stages in neurodevelopment when neuronal pruning occurs people lose the ability. The individuals who do not go through this process completely may have synesthesia.

Other arguments for how one can have synesthesia include cross-wiring of neurons, or atypical functioning of the ‘association area’ in the brain. Synethesia specifically color-graphemic can be induced through taking hallucinating drugs such as Magic Mushroom.

People with synesthesia has been linked to having stronger memory.

I've read the book back in 2004. And now 2011, the trailer has come out (super excited!). This is a masterpiece revolves around a wizard, a dragon named Smaug, a Bag-End hobbit and a band of dwarves (oh and also my preciousss...)

One year to go for the release of the 1st part (the 2nd part will be in 2013 though). Tolkien / LOTR fans, mark your calender 14 December 2012. ;) make sure to keep up with The Hobbit updates.

Lima tahun lepas, berpuasa sebagai pelajar di perantau.

Transformers, roll-out!

I am a fan of Transformers since I was small. Growing up watching the cartoons and now, able to watch the movie, is as close as hoping the robots in disguise to come alive, in our real daily life. The dream to collect their figurines as collectibles never fades. In the future, I will make sure this is a dream come true. Ah yes, this is how I am a fan to the Transformers. :)

Transformers II - Revenge of the Fallen. Transformers III - Dark of the Moon. Both I got the chance to watch it at the premiere screening. Two days earlier for TF II & few hours earlier before the other premiere screening for TF III. And both are the result of entering a contest *wuhoo, super excite!*

A quick review:

Transformers (2007) The most closest story line to the cartoon story.

Transformers II - Revenge of the Fallen (2009) It has the most Autobots characters.

Transformers III - Dark of the Moon (2011) Major destruction! Awesome epic battle.

*The original Transformers animated movie was in 1986. Have you watch it yet?

Michael Bay did an amazing interpretation of his own with three spectacular movies. Though it's not all perfect but to bring Autobots and Decpticons into life, it needs a strong and reliable imagination. For me, it surpass my expectation. All will be kept safe for a story to be told to the generation in the future.

15th May 2011. Sidang ke-6.

Another big day for me as the date marks my 2nd convocation. This time it's for Degree. After 2 years being placed at UiTM Kampus Bandaraya Melaka, all is finished right on track. I'm very grateful for it. Syukur Alhamdullilah for every opportunity given to me :)

From the bottom of my heart, a thank you wish wouldn't be enough to compare with all the help and guidance given from all these people; Ibu, Kaklong, Classmates, Coursemates and Lecturers. You guys are forever in my heart!

Now when it's all over, I really missed the moment. Having the opportunity to study at Melaka is fun! Really, not just because of it's historical city, but also because of the people I met and be friends with. Kampus yang sentiasa sejuk beku. Lif yang if tak sampai awal, kena naik tangga sampai tingkat 16. 'The look' from pak guard & mak guard - This is what you get as a student at UiTM Malacca City Campus. Bila teringat balik semua pengalaman, it makes me smile. Each student has their own "life as a student" story and this is mine. :)

Oh yes! Bruno Mars rocked PWTC with his voice, a little bit of dancing, playing drums & guitar. With the hits like Just The Way You Are, Grenade & Count on Me, all the fans voluntarily became his backup singer. He did a tribute on Micheal Jackson's Billy Jean and a mashup for Nothin' On You & Billionaire.

He sang all the songs in the album except for Talking To The Moon. For about 1 1/2 hours duration, Bruno deserves an applause for his stamina & a good control on his vocals. He is awesome & a true talented entertainer. + he sings what every girl wants to hear.

Few days back, I was busy helping. Then on this date, all the effort was paid off. I wasn't expecting anything, really, but what I get was really unexpected. From the bottom of my heart, syukur alhamdullilah and thank you for the food fiesta!

the football team claims their 1st title of AFF Suzuki Cup after 14 years waiting. 1st game at Bukit Jalil, Malaysia menang 3-0. 2nd game at Jakarta, Malaysia kalah 1-2. Akhirnya based on aggregate, Malaysia menang by 4-2.

Rawr! good for you Malaysian team! and supporters too.

so now semua jadi best and famous.
public holiday on Friday sempena kemenangan yeay! tapi yang obvious more girls sangat semangat pasal football - mungkin because of last night's game? ramai perempuan "in love" with Khairul Fahmi - the goalkeeper. dia quite tangkas save bola!

the most common example is when someone try to hit you on the face, of course you'll avoid it right? If not, then your reflex is low.
Other examples which could be relevant:

I. Shopping at clearance or warehouse sale. Semua berebut for best bargain. With high reflexes, you'll know how to get what you want.
II. Between lecturer and student. Bila lecturer tanya soalan, student jawab, it shows the brain reacts giving good reflexes.
III. In most ocassion, bila nampak cameraman or those with camera nak amik gambar, mesti cepat buat aksi *hot.cun.maut* the terms di gunakan nowadays. hahaha ;p

Bangun tidur tiba-tiba teringat mimpi semalam. Tak ingat all the details but feel happy to think about it. I don't always remember any dream. Bila orang lain sibuk dengan alasan, secretly I'm wishing mimpi jadi kenyataan. Then I read this in newspaper:-

*Pandora - the Na'vi*

Finally watched AVATAR, after 10 days opens at cinemas. And I thought the cinema will be less-packed, but no, still like lots of fish in the sea! (means sangat ramai orang sampai line beratur panjang towards the popcorn area *huh please imagine that!*) And for the 1st time, popcorn + most of the snacks are sold out! Only left with salty popcorn - which is tak sedap okay! Plans to watch in 3D but the ticks nearly SOLD OUT and seating not nice. . . nasib ada normal screen and really worth watching through any screen though :)

One thing obvious with this movie is the reminder to PROTECT the GREEN/ENVIRONMENT/EARTH'S BELONGINGS.

My personal review: Avatar is worth the TIME (almost 3 hours) and STORY (learn from others' perspective) I See You.

*Derma Darah at Pusat Darah Negara*

I like the feeling after habis proses derma darah. Timbang berat > check hemoglobin > check blood pressure > lastly cucuk jarum dan darah mula mengalir haha! 1st time experience is 3 years back in UiTM Dungun. Then it became "annual event" for me.

The latest is my 4th donation :) Rasa sakit cucuk jarum hanya sekejap *bam-bam-boom* dah siap - not more than 10 minutes! So lets all donate blood ya ^_^

primary school friends gather together again, after like what - 10 years tidak berjumpa!

1st story: Melaka
After 1 week of raya, meet up with Mira, finally yeay! both of us agak rapat back in standard 6 - go tuition sama, beli magazines, lepak at Jaya, fooling at playgrounds - yup memang macam perangai budak sekolah ;p

2nd story: Facebook!

10 dec 09 around late evening, UiTM final exam's result is out.
Like always, there's the usual 'traffic jam' - semua tak sabar nak tengok result duhh!
Mine: not good. yes I expect more. but everytime for any result, lulus semua subject is better than to repeat any paper.
that's the most grateful thing syukur Alhamdulillah :)

What I can remember is:
I prepared myself to answer according to what's in the book. the expectation doesn't meet reality. I didn't prepare for "the unexpected" and I can say I did a bit of "gambling" during exam.

Kita manusia lemah yang hanya boleh merancang (berusaha + doa + tawakal)
If we do not succeed now, who knows in the future perhaps?
Biarkan yang lepas berlalu. Di kejar² nanti kita akan tersungkur.

Lesson learned. Be ready for anything & no more taking risk!

the Boy: architecture student turns out to be greeting cards writer

the Girl: the average of all + the pretty mystery (like we dunno what she'll do next)

not the average lovey dovey story, where girl cries when breakup + boy do not show his feelings... NO it's not the usual story. for me the music, the dialogues, the storyline - it's different and do put it on repeat, hehe.

Facebook - The addiction

Yang selalu masuk dalam category social networks, mesti akan jadi addiction. Dulu Friendster, then Myspace, then bla bla bla banyak lagi seperti cendawan tumbuh lepas hujan. 1st time I heard about Facebook early 2008 bila kaklong suruh sign up. Rasanya I replied "eh buku pun ada muka sekarang? haha.."

now I'm addicted to Facebook! yelaa nak ikut perkembangan semasa, nanti di COP tak up-to-date pula, ishkk. . . twitter is another thing. latest addiction to all, but not me ;p

Perkara kesukaan di Facebook:
1. Tag pictures (even if we're not in it)
2. Comment pictures (seronok sangat sampai boleh terkeluar dari real topic)

settled with final exam. and IT IS getting harder! degree is tougher than diploma, but it seems this semester soalan final dah "menunjukkan taringnya" - it's more to critical thinking or Kemahiran Berfikir Secara Kreatif&Kritis (KBKK) as mostly use term for schools level. OH! di sebabkan hal ini, ramai akan meluahkan perasaan di status facebook. ramai juga akan komen dengan jayanya haha!

:: during exam, I dreamt of being Hiro Nakamura - of tv series Heroes - to stop time, search for answers from notes - unfreeze, then jawab soalan confidently (AS IF boleh buat cegini, dream on berangan lebih...)

The Present:
hoo-lee-day! hari di nanti sudah tiba =) off to PJ and goodbye Melaka (for at least 1 1/2 months) holiday plans? movie marathon + catchup tv + cooking lesson (yes seriously!) + iPod-ing + klang's house moving process + wanie's wedding!

final exam's result in early dec! next semester dah part 5! kemudian practical. time flies so fast! move to new environment - be prepared. klang OH klang! ;p

OMG OMG it's been a month! if this is about relationship, I would be over the moon to celebrate it. but no. . . It's THIS BLOG yang telah di abaikan, terbiar for a month. Bukannya tiada idea but after cuti raya, the mood to blog seems have been cut down.

Been busy/ A bit busy/ Boleh di kira busy with events, assignments, tests, presentations. . . sampai sekarang, tarikh post ini, it's been 3 weeks tak balik rumah PJ. rindu ibu, along, ngah chah ;(

Actually the plan is to go back for 3 days only, then became the holiday of 1 week plus. . .

friday nothing to tell,home sweet home =)
saturday starts to cough again, watched Ugly Betty, rest to sleep *starts to think of the H1N1 symptoms*
sunday still batuk + pening + selsema, stayed at home, boringness.

Depends on mood, I'm willing to treat others. I like to make & to see others happy. Who doesn't? Directly or indirectly. Perhaps I'm a bit soft-hearted when others ask me to treat them. Are they taking advantage on muah? Or maybe want to test my goodness,kindness?

Small or big treat, depends on budget at that time. I'm not that rich okay! and I don't have enough money to prepare for life-long budget either. . . tapi masih boleh survive in this some-sort-of-world-eating-money.

yet still, I want to be treated as well. so it's true you will feel good when treating others, tapi takkan tiada orang lain boleh treat you back?
the feeling is different when we're being treated by family and friends. with family maybe we wouldn't feel shy but with friends perhaps we will have the thoughts that we have to treat them back *treat others back just to be fair*

SO far the family treats me well (kaklong I can ask for anything, I guess, that's why I LOVE u sangat *hugs*)

1st week of 4th semester of Degree starts. So far dalam jadual no classes on friday. Yeay! ada peluang selalu balik PJ. hehe.. not so hectic. Now class pun banyak cancel coz lecturer sangat busy dengan hal lain. it's okay, let them be *itu pasal hari Rabu I sudah boleh ZOOM balik rumah!*

Naik bas dari Melaka to KL. Seat dalam bas manyak kosong woo! Maybe pasal it's weekdays & no holiday pun. Tapi best naik bas (again) after almost 2 months bercuti *hOhO sangat pelik ada feeling like this*

Balik rumah melayan movies. Nak catchup on TV series tapi seakan tak berdaya menunggu untuk di upload. SO option lain facebooking, surfing other's blog, updating blacky. . . Internet line at rumah sewa SANGAT haram! *sob sob* Alang-alang balik PJ, buatla apa yang patut. . .

I'm done with blogging for now, maybe. . . Or perhaps just take a break with Kit-Kat??

It is, the last weekend before the new semester starts. I'm looking forward for it. Yeay! =]

No more college, duduk rumah sewa! Will stick with housemates a.k.a. junior yang boleh sekepala dengan senior (I'm the proud senior. haha!) Baju kurung so-so, cardigan is on! Melaka, here I come again! Jonker Walk will be very near, temptation will be high. hehe..

I did not go for Anuar Zain's Lelaki Ini show at Istana Budaya ='(

I will not go for Red Devils Asia Tour *another sad face* but I WILL go if some miracle wishes to appear (like i'm winning the tickets or someone surprise me with it or I found it on the road. haha ini semua imaginasi tinggi!)

Though I have to miss 2 events (so far), I'll always remember the day I went for the premier of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen! Yesss I'm a fanatic of Cybertron livings & I'll keep on saying (and perhaps bugging) about the movie even to those who don't like it. hOhO *evil but good for promoting*

It is, the most awesome invitation card (so far) that I ever got! And now after watching the 2nd installment, I REALLY want transformers to be REAL. Just look at this title post! Haish, I'm so having wanting-the-movie-to-be-real syndrome *ROFL!*

I'm always hungry lately. Lagilah sekarang masih dalam mood cuti. I'm always at home with so much food to chew on.

I can eat A LOT, you know! body of course still maintain ;p

Before the screening, I and kaklong grab a bite at O'Brien's. I thought of just eating popcorn later on but she insisted on buying *hee thanks!*

Sangat sedap with salmon in the sandwich! I'm so influence with kaklong to fall-in-love with salmon ;)

Then in the cinema, we ate AGAIN. but it's popcorn! a must menu for me while watching movie. hehee~

Now updates on rumah Klang. Kunci-kunci bilik, studio etc. Handover was done: mix feelings right now. . .

Finally, after berkurun² (I'm so extravagant. haha!) lamanya menunggu jawapan of changing campus UiTM, I got the answer! Ini pun setelah diriku berusaha bersungguh² contacting several numbers of you-know-where. . . I'm not that disappointed to know my application has been rejected, BUT. . . can they at least inform me and not just say "Tunggu je surat keputusan sampai kat rumah. Tak lama lagi laa tuu.."

Ok, like what daa?!? If I don't always think about this matter, for sure I've produced zillion (again, extravagant. ROFL!) of pixellates.

Sorry kaklong for the delay. . .

See, this what happened when I waited and waited for the letter (ini la masa sangat semangat nak dapat surat from Uni..) and now only before 2 weeks before enrolling back, only then I get the answer. Penantian satu penyeksaan, you know! Nasib baik dah buat backup plan about rumah sewa with housemates. If not I akan merempat laa di tepi jalan ;p

Actually, I'm glad that I don't have to change campus. At 1st when I want to transfer campus, I only followed the feeling of wanting to-be-near-to-home. After 3 years at Terengganu, I thought I'm done with traveling & perhaps I still have the homesick syndrome. Then, after getting a place for Degree at Melaka, I really² want to change campus!

Time goes by and I (surprisingly) adapt faster with the environment at Melaka (just to compare with Terengganu). In term of friends, especially. I just feel I can CLICK with them =) *sangat merindui housemates & classmates!*

The more reason to stay at Melaka is I have the chance to explore the historical city more. yeay! Let's wiki² Melaka now!

That's 2 days before the opening screening in Malaysia! thanks to Don't Panic Malaysia & United International Pictures. FYI, for the 1st time I don't really selalu-terfikirkan-pasal-result. Don't know why. . . (every time during Diploma semester break, thinking about the-upcoming-result is A MUST!) but now, maybe perhaps I've changed my direction of thinking to other stuff. Such as:

:: Diploma convocation (which is done, finally, syukur!)

:: the under-construction-new-house at Klang. yes, I'm moving soon T_T

:: waiting for the result of changing campus (just lately I've doubt about it. to change/accept or not??)

But happily said now, I'm able to menahan-diri-dari-membazir-masa =)
